This is a comprehensive film, with a lot of unexpected twists and turns. It's got a great storyline and superb special effects. The story has been wrongly interpreted by many critics as an allegory of the current state of America, but I think this misses some key points on what the movie is trying to convey on a more universal level. There are some issues with pacing in the second half, as well as with some characters that were underutilized or not given enough time to shine as they should have been. But overall it's still an enjoyable experience that I would recommend giving a try, if you're into superhero movies at all. Whatever side you take of the ideological fence, it's a movie that's definitely worth a watch. In France, Apocalypse is called Apocalypse: Le Retour des X-Men from 2015, from the return of the X-Men. In Germany it is called Apocalypse: Erwache!, also from 2015. In Poland it is called Mutantowie Znów (Mutants Again) and in Ukraine - Летающие супермены (The Flying Supermen). All the rest is the same: Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, Kazakhstan and all CIS countries. It was a beautiful story of Logan and Xavier. The action scenes were terrific with a lot of cool CGI special effects; other than that, it was an emotional roller coaster ride for Charles Xavier/Professor X (James McAvoy). I never thought that I would like it as much as I did! Definitely worth watching! This movie left me raptured to say the least. It has everything that you need; suspense, action, drama and romance. For sure this is one of the best X-Men movies ever made. The cast is great and there's a huge list of various actors and actresses that participated in the film. I'm not saying that you should just go to theaters and watch this movie, but I strongly recommend that you watch it at home on DVD or Digital HD with your family. It's worth it! The characters are immensely defined. First class actors all of them! I watched this film with my husband and we both loved it. I would say it is one of the best films I have seen so far this year (and 2016 is only two months old) and something we will probably buy on DVD as we're big X-Men fans, having read many of the comics growing up. The casting was great. I think that James McAvoy and Michael Fassbender are fantastic actors and play the parts to a tee. Patrick Stewart is a legend in every since of the word to me. He plays Charles Xavier in a way that makes me feel like Xavier is real and someone I could meet in the street. It was so good, I watched it twice back to back, back to back.
